    just wanted to say hello to everyone...

    i am kind of new to fish but do have a roommate with much more experience.

    i hve a 55 gallon tank that i currently have stocked with 3, 2 inch convicts, 3 Dempsey's 1- 2inch 1-3 1/2 inch and one about 4-5 inches

    i have in the works a second 55 gallon tank for the 2 larger Dempsey's
    (2 weeks - a month before ready)



    i do think that the smallest of the 3 JD's is sick or has some sort of parasite....
    over the past 3 days or so it seems like his eyes have been developing.... almost like a gas build up behind them. any advice for this or what it is even would be great.

    ok so the link that brought me to 3reef said it was a forum for jack Dempsey's

    i do realize that this is for the most part a salt water forum.

    this might be ok because my more experienced roommate wants to try a salt water tank for the first time so i am gonna stick around and maybe ask for some advice now and then :)
