    Hello everyone! After years of freshwater, i have decided to attempt a reef tank. I live in Hawaii, and wondering if anyone sees any advantage to this since i am surrounded by reef? any thoughts?

    Welcome to 3reef.

    The collection laws and sale of corals in Hawaii is so strict that I see it as a disadvantage.

    I totally agree with the laws but it would leave me a frustrated reefer.

    The advantage is you can jump in the water and see the real thing!

    You don't have to shovel snow either...
