I don't remember if I've ever introduced myself here?! Well, anyhoo, here goes again!

I live in Charlotte North Carolina. I used to run a 125 that I tore down and moved to an 80 gallon rimless deep blue. Four months ago, my sump leaked (the sump in which I built the entire tank around) - so now I run an 80 gallon rimless deep blue aquarium with about 65-70 gallons of total water volume. No sump, no skimmer and all that jazz. Needless to say, I was ready to throw in the towel after waking up at 12am with 5 gallons of water over the floor.

But, quitting isn't easy. So I'm back.......with a vengeance and jumped right into some SPS frags on a sumpless system. Go figure.

Attached is a new purple milli (I think) that I picked up last Saturday. He came with a goodie. I got a special surprise and based on my research, I think I'll keep him.

UNLESS SOMEONE TELLS ME OTHERWISE????? He's safe right? I hope?

    Welcome. ;)

That is a beauty, I am not sure of Acropora type. Looks like it could be a couple other things than Millepora, like Acropora Prostrata.

Axial corallites are tubular in shape. Radial corallites are all the same size. They have prominent lower lips giving a scale-like appearance.

What lighting type are you using?

Sorry to hear about the sump.
