    Hi All,

I was at my LFS yesterday when I saw a fish called a highfin perchlet. The store was closing and I didn't want to bug the employee with a bunch of questions, so I didn't find anything out about the little guy. He was adorable and looking online there isn't too much information about them.

Does anyone know anything about this fish? It's also called a geometric pygmy hawkfish.

    Thanks!

The Highfin Perchlet.... nice. They kninda look like hawkfishes but I think they are Anthias. If it is the same fish as I'm thinking about they are orange and white. They would be ok for a reef aquarium. I do think they can be agressive to bottom buddies !!!!!! I haven't seen many but the LFS had a few a couple of months ago. I think they are really neat..... would love to see a pic if you get it.

I reeeeally want one!! I fell in love with him for the few minutes I saw him at the LFS and now can't stop thinking about him! I'm not ready to add him to my tank yet, but I think I'll put him on hold. From what research I've done online they seem to be fun fish, and they aren't common, so I like that.

If I get one I'll definitely post a picture!! I hope I do get him! :) Below is a link to a pic.
