    Anyone know? I found this in my refuge after adding grape calerpa (sp?)
    Doesn't look mean. If you can see it with the lousy pic.

    this is aptasia. Sometimes you will fin d them when you buy live rock from pet stores. These can be a pain in the butt if they spiral out of contol in your tank. they will pop up everywhere. This is what you do. You can either buy a copperband butterfly fish or just get rid of it by injecting the stalk with a high concentration of calcium or joes juice. look that up. Take care of them now before you start putting other things in your tank man.. Aptasia is what it is.

    I work at an animal hospital and can get my hands on injectable Calcium. Will that work?

    You can also get peppermint shrimp, they will eat them.
