I purchased a rock with yellow polyps on it from my LFS. While deciding which one to get, the employee showed me this one and mentioned it had a hitchhiker on it. He said he thought it was a carpet (I don't think it is)...

I think it's a rock flower anemone??? But I'm not sure. So hopefully the experts around here can help me out! My tank has been up and running for 7 months now. I have zoas, polyps, toadstool/mushroom leather, trumpet coral all spread out around the tank.

I also have 2 clowns and a couple black/blue damsels and a goby (along with a good-sized CUC). It's a 60 gallon cube tank with the BoostLED MU Series 135W light.

Will everything co-exist with this new addition?

THANK YOU for all your help!

Nice looking hitchhiker, wish I got nice ones. At least your tank is old enough, good luck.

Awesome, thanks! Ya, it was a great deal! $15 for the yellow polyps and the anemone. Wish all my coral purchases turned out so well!

I just wish my coral purchases didn't include hitchhikers that eat the corals!

I'd even be happy with those. Best I got was a $0.13 hermit. Turns out, there wasn't even a hermit in the shell :(
