hitchhiker coral???

    i bought some live rock the other day and it has a hitch hiker coral on it. it looks like a polyp. i cant get a good picture of it at all. its creamish green in color and i can see the mouth and has short tenticles.... any ideas of what it is?

    no its like white but pearlesant green. and there is only one. ill try and get a good picture. im pretty sure it is a poly of some sort.

    You mean a palythoa? Sounds like an interesting color combination, would definitely enjoy seeing it :)

    it looks like a button polyp but has very short tentacles unless it hasnt extended them yet. and it has a very fat base compared to all the other polyps ive seen. ill get a pic of it as good as i can. it hasnt opened up that much. wanna take it off the rock but idk how i would?
