HLLE in Koran Angel

    I have a beautiful Koran Angelfish that was a gift over two years ago. It now has HLLE (Head and Latteral Line Errosion) and it is bad. I've added a refugium to the tank, and to that refugium I have Miracle Mud, a refugium substrate, and a phosphate reactor. I've also started supplementing the food with Omega compounds, but there has been no improvement. What else can I do to get this fish healthy? I have reached my financial limit, so I'm not sure what else I can do. :confused:

    HLLE is quite common in korans and if im right it is not fatal unless in terrible conditions and the HLLE is really bad. i would just wait it out with the changes youve made and see if it improves.

    I assume the Koran Eats Seaweed? or other foods offered. ... Try soaking them in a Vitamin C supplement

    Vitamin C supplements are supposed to help. Does the fish eat well?

    HLLE is usually due to poor diet or lacking in some sort of nutrient - what is he eating?

    The Koran was moved from the 46 to the 90, right? The fish has had the problem for a while, and it will take a while for it to go away as well. Along with foods that the others have mentioned, New Life Spectrum is excellent. It will also take a bit for you to see the benefits of adding a refugium.
