How do HOB refugiums hang on? Is there a continous lip or are they spaced out? I have a 55 gal that I would like to add a refugium to but don't want to buy one and have it not fit. I already have a protein skimmer on the back, a fluidized bed filter, and my wavemaker inlet and outlets to consider. It's a bit crowded back there but may be able to do some rearranging if necessary.

yea a continuous lip or the like , when you order a HOB you need to know the avalible area at the back of the length tank and the space between the wall and the tank.

Rats, I was hoping they were just brackets, spaced apart. That will narrow down my options A LOT.

No, it's on a low dresser-type of stand.
