My bubble tip anemone has a hole straight through it. I can see live rock
in the center of my anemone. Has this happened to anyone?

Tank-Biocube 14g, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate-0ppm, salinity 1.022, ph 8.3, 9month old tank, 7lbs live rock, and stock lighting

    Is the BTA splitting/cloning?

How long has it been like this and can you put up an image?

I've watched a rose do this off and on for months now and it still seems to be happy as ever.

Is the mouth white and puffed up? Mine died shortly after doing this.

thepanfish, yea thats what I'm afraid of.

The mouth if inflated and open, which seems to be the hole all the way through to the live rock. My lights are out for the day but I will post a picture tomorrow.

It has been like this for two days now. The temperature did rise to above 88F (That's when I noticed it looking like this). Since then I cooled the tank to 80F and kept a close eye on all parameters.

If it is splitting there will be multiple mouths. If no multiple mouths its dieing and you need to get it out of your tank before it fouls your water. Sorry for your loss nems don't tolerate warm water or any adverse water conditions very well. ;)
