So I got a brand new carpet anemone at the LFS today thats about a foot wide fully expanded, and I was wondering what could host my new anemone. Here are my choices at the LFS: percula, maroon, clarkii, or tomato clowns. I would also like to know what inverts would be suitable. I like the procelain crabs, thogh. any opinions?

also note that some clowns will take a while to go into their potential host...

there's a thread somewhere on this forum where people printed out pictures of clowns hosting in anenomes, and taped this onto the tank where the clown could see it...

some believe this speed up the process, my tomato clown took about 3 weeks before it would even think about going into my purple tip...

Your "purple tip" is an un-likely match for any clown. They come from parts of the world that don't have clownfish.
