I woke up this morning and found what appeared to be a tip of my pink hammer attached to one of my milli's. I pulled it off and hopefully it doesn't damage the milli too bad. The corals are far apart from eachother and are at different depths. Is this right?

branching(atleast in the aquarium, in wild they probably have eggs). if you are finding the soft part with out the skeleton thats a bad sign. it's try to leave your tank.

Well it doesn't appear to be "melting away" but perhaps it's just the beginning - or it just felt like spawning.
