How does this look? - Update: All done!

I bought all the parts to make a fuge/sump for my 20G tank. I bought a nano overflow kit from Glass-holes and 1/2" bulkhead return. My DT is a 20G tall and the fuge tank is a 10G. Fuge will go under the DT inside the stand. I didn't draw in the chiller since the drawing will get too busy, but I will have it inline with the return to the tank where the up arrow is. I will have a MJ1200 for the return. I figure with the head height (about 3 feet) and chiller, it will drop the rate from 400GPH down to about 200 or so.
What do you guys think? Any criticism is welcomed. I haven't cut the glass baffles yet so I am open to any ideas and improvements. Thanks! :)

Looks great! The only is I like to see my refugium and its inhabitants without concealling it. So, I have my refugium on the side of my 125 gallon tank. But that is just me...
    Good luck!

Your filter sock might cause unwanted nitrates but you have the denitrator on there so may not be a problem. Looks good otherwise!

Just change out your filter sock every three or four days and you will not have a problem. You may want to consider an offset fuge to maintain greater control over flow. It would take a little more PVC work and an extra ball valve but it's do-able.

Thanks for all the comments and inputs. I may forgo the sock and use eggcrate and filterfloss, it may be easier to put in and clean as compared to a sock. I would totally do an offset fuge, but the 10G is a snug fit in the stand. Once it's in there, it's there to stay. I could design it so the intake of the fuge is on the right. I'll have to add a 45º elbow and some other stuff, but it won't be that hard to do. Is that what you had in mind?

Not if you clean them out regularly, as pharmrjohn mentioned. Luna

Well I had to change my design slightly due to a goof up on my part. I need to hurry up and get it done, my anemone isn't looking too happy now, it's blowing out it's water 2-3 times a week. :(
Will cycling a new refugium mess up my tank params a lot? After I get my fuge all assembled and dried, I plan on getting some Cheato off ebay with some cured live sand to seed my new dry sand to help it along.

i'd run a mag5 or so for a return, MH1200 will not push water up that far their only like 270gph in a 1/2" hose and pushing up 2' of head room after adjusting for 90's and such it just wont make it

better to go bigger on the pump and just put a ball valve in-line so you can dial it back if need be
