In a 55 gallon tank layed out like in the shot below, how many fish + crustacians can I safely have before it gets too crowded for them?

    Thank you.

Not sure, i dont even know what fish are out there besides damsels, clowns and tangs.

Here's a list of fish that I like and would luv to have at some point in time, i assume i can't fit them all into this tank nor do I know if they would "get along". Any advice on what number and combination of each I could do would be greatly appreciated:

    - Small stingray
    - Hermit crab
    - Coral banded cleaner shrimp
    - Zebra Moray eel
    - True percula clownfish
    - Neon velvet damsel
    - Buncha live coral
    - Moorish Idols
    - Flame angelfish
    - Bangaii cardinals

Nice scape, but I worry about the left side (looking at tank)... Are you going to have enough flow? ... Rule of thumb is 1-2G per inch of fish (planned per adult size).. Keep in mind that rocks, corals, sand/substrate take up volume and afford you less total water volume in your tank.

Glad you find it interesting. Do you think it will work just fine?

once you said stingray I decided to call PETA LOL just kidding but... thats way too much. Stingray is out, eel is out too. Moorish Idol... i'd get a bigger tank. neon velvet will cause aggression. you could go for a percula. if you want coral the flame angel is 50/50; it might nip at coral or it might not. You should get a few hermit crabs for a good CUC. You could keep like 2 banggai cardinals and maybe a percula clown pair if you'd like. you could keep a coral banded but you cant get any other shrimp or thi shrimp will likely kill it. How about true percula clown pair, 2 banggai cardinals, and maybe a goby like a neon goby or yellow watchman goby? you could probably add more but take it slow first

Not sure. I got 700 pump hidden behind the right side pointing up and towards the wrong. Do i need to re-scape the left side? Or maybe add another pump there? You can't tell from pics, butt here's def some open space behind the left side and seeral caves connecting to it.

It's an interesting scape for sure. But just be mindful of having enough available flow so as to not grow nuisance algae and other things.

I would go browsing if you have no idea what kinds of fish are out there. Check out bluezooaquatics or liveaquaria to get some idea.

most dwarf angels, damsels, clowns, cardinals, gobies, blennies, dottybacks, if you want an eel in that size tank try a golden dwarf moray, only eel suitable for a 55 gallon and only gets about 10 inches and is quite pricey.
