    Just got two new clownfish and I was wondering if i have a hob filter, and a skimmer, than how many fish could I put in my reef tank? Also, how many more could I add if I added a 10 gal. sump?:fish::help:

    I think that 2 clowns is probably more than enough.
    I have a 34G and all i have is 2 clowns and a cleaner shrimp.
    Make life much easier when keeping corals.

    I am thinking that you have a pretty full load with two clowns. If they become a pair they may chase any other fish out of the tank or worse.

    Even if you add any size sump, you'll just be adding water volume, which can help with stability of water parameters, but it's not going to give them any more room to swim and not fight with/kill any other fish you put in.
