    In my 120g, I have 4 Evo 1400's and 4 K1's.

The 4 Evo 1400's are on 2 at a time.... 2 are pointed for clockwise flow, and 2 for counter clockwise flow. I alternate the pairs in one hour cycles. The 4 K1's are on a wave maker and randomly cycle on and off.

    Gives me flow everywhere.

    +1 on the above
in that multiple power heads are better

4 smaller ones , would be easier to direct/ control than 2 larger ones IME

What do you want/ or what are you keeping as the answer to that will help us in terms of advising an overall amount of flow for your system

you need a lot more water movement with SPS than you do with softer corals
and IME many LPS corals wont be happy in the enviroment you create for any SPS corals
(it can be done, but it does give you positioning issues, finding a spot suitable for all types becomes difficult)

in my 120 i have 4 evo 1400s and could use more like NASAGeek has, mine run 24/7 but i use to have them running on my RKL but took them off so i could have more flow all at once.
