you can either use the toothpick rubber band method, or if the base is healed i would try to use superglue first.

Ok so i went to take it off the rubble rock it was originally attached to and i discovered that it was actually attached to 2 small pieces of rock. it just looked like 1 big one. Anyways, i went to take it off and it came off fairly easy and no base of it was left on the bottom of the old rock. So while taking the old rock out, the coral slipped from my hands and it slowly sunk to the bottom. Instead of going to the bottom, it landed in a crevice of a huge rock. Actually, a pretty cool and good crevice and were i would like it. So i figured it would never stay there. So soon enough, i go to take it out and it was stuck on there pretty good! i didnt want to yank it because it looks good where its at. Should i keep it there with no enforcement? will it detach because it looks pretty attached to the rock by now...?

If it looks attached, it will stay there unless you remove it.
