    OK went to the Dr today. I have plantar faciitis. Plantar fascia is the fascia that covers the bones in your foot from about mid calf throught the heel to the toes. Plantar fasciitis is where the fascia, which is like that thin, almost see through stuff on chicken between the skin and meat, tears. It feels, after a day on my feet, like I'm walking on crushed glass. My line of work you can't do sitting still. Well anyway, I was watering my flowers three weeks ago and tore the fascia even more than it already was. PAIN!

    Here's where the "reasoning" comes in;

    The Dr. told me I saved myself surgery by tearing it. Wooo hooo. ::):-/ So, I saved myself about $100.00 in medical bills and probably $200.00 in gas.. He put me in a larger, longer boot and said see ya in 3-4 weeks. Got some anti-inflamitories too.

    OK, so.....mother in law in tow, we go to Star Aquatics which is about 10 minutes up the road. It, along with my Dr are an hour away in Augusta. So, I saved a trip! My favorite guy there(damned if I can remember his name) is always very sweet and answers questions for me. Some I already know the answers, just wanna see if he's correct. Well I came home with a really nice Torch coral, a black pencil(?) urchin and a Beautiful Mandarin Dragonette. All for 87 bucks. So I saved even more money LOL How's that for reasoning.

    I'll post pics in the morning! I just got through with an hour drip acclimation, but the Dragonette is panting hard. Then my CBS starts picking at him, then he scooted into the rocks. I hope he'll make it! The urchin stuck right to the glass and started sliding along and the Torch is opening very nicely! I'm gonna go back and stare at them for a little while longer....I'll be back!;D

    Oh you know I have to see pics. Especially the mandarin. So you don't need surgery. Just a bigger BOOT. Well hope you get better soon. Take it easy little lady and can't wait to see the pics.

    Yeah......+1 on being mellow. Good job at the LFS. Will look for pics here soon. I just dumped a bunch of pods in my tank last night, so a few months down the road maybe I will have enough of a population.

    the reasoning is that hubby can't get mad that I spent the money on fish since I saved him a whole lot more$$ when I tore the fascia myself;D(by no means on purpose...that hurt!)

    Tank is dark, let me see if I can get some shots.....

    can't see the urchin so that'll be tomorrow

    here ya go!

    Congrats on the dragonet gras. Took me several years before I had the guts to buy one. Here's a very old pic of mine.
