Hurry call 911! (new pic added)

My clownfish has taken a turn for the worse. For the last few weeks I noticed he hasnt had much of an appetite. Yesterday though he did eat some shrimp I had cut up and was feeding to everyone. Then today he started acting a little spasdic, darting around and such. I noticed his color was fading really fast. I quickly set up my qt tank as a hospital tank now due to the fact I had to take him out. I havent introduced any new fish or critters for months so my qt tank was not set up. My clown is now at the surface breathing fairly hard. My cherished B&W occelaris (my favorite) is now almost completely gray. His eyes look ok, his fins are ok, I dont really see anything like ich on him, there is no slimy stuff coming off, I dont see any worms or anything around his gills. I just checked my water params 2 days ago and everything was good. If you want I can get my folder out and post the results. It is too late for me to get any medication, had an idea.....Walmart. Is there something at walmart I may be able to pick up? Please help I dont want to lose my favorite fish. If he is still alive tommorrow morning I will try to post some pictures of him. PLEASE HELP!!!

It sounds like Ammonia for some reason. I would test that and pH. Most people don't have a Dissolved Oxygen test kit but if you do, I would test that. Do you have any Prime or Amquel? That would be safe to dose right into the tank.

Wouldnt amonia affect the other fish in the tank? All my other fish look and act fine.

100% Agree. Have you added anything like buffer or red slime remover or anything at all in the last day or 2.

If you have an air stone I would put that in the tank as well?

Yes, the other fish would be affected.

Do you have a magnifying glass? Now it sounds like Marine Velvet if only two fish are affected and look gray.

I havent added anything to the tank. I dont have any red slime, I have 4 other fish that are doing fine. It is only 1 fish that is affected. I can put an air stone in the hospital tank but I really dont think it is a lack of oxygen as I have plenty of surface agitation.

I just checked on my clown and he is now swimming in the hospital tank down on the bottom. He is not gasping for air but his color is gray. I still dont see any slime on him. It doesnt seem to fit any of the common signs of diseases that I have read about. I dont know what to do.

wow exact same thing happened to me.. the clown actually lived over night and died the next day.. i was completely clueless and it was feeding perfectly, i had perfect water parameters as well, no other fish affected as well.. i was thinking of some kind of internal parasite or some kind of microscopic marine disease..
