Looks good, the RO holding area is very interesting

Looks good, I like to have the refugium in between the intake and the return, so you have some water movement in there. But you don't have too.

So is the overflow going to be split with one going to return and one going to the fuge? I've never seen RO holding in a sump..

Looks like a plan and pretty ingeniuitve but I'd worry about saltcreep and splash possibly contaminating my ro top off water the containment was built into the sump. Possibly you could seal that completely off somehow. Just a thought.

change the 5" H bubble trap wall to 13" H, loose the R/O holding tank area and split the difference between the return area and the fuge.

The R/o Holding area sounds interesting but it leaves too many unknown variables not to mention being another potential point of failure, one that in this case might kill your fuge in a flash.
anyway, if the amount of evaporation in my system is any indication the R/O holding area will need to be refilled daily anyway, your better off adding that directly to the return area instead of filling the R/O area then having to pump it over to the return area too.

Yes, I am going to split the overflow so that I can feed the fuge with a slower and steady stream of water.

Thanks for the suggestion to increase the 5" wall to 13" wall, I have a question as to why this is neccessary. Does it somehow improve the removal of bubbles?

Good point, I think I will ensure that the wall is as tall as the tank and have a removable top.

Looks interesting..my first question was how are you feeding water to the fuge but you're splitting the return.

Next is the RO section. How are you moving that water to the sump return section? Do you plan to put an ATO in there with a small pump?
