I Got Crabs!

Yikes...that title...heh. Well I actually did get some crabs today.

I got one arrow crab. He is awsome and big enough to not get eaten by my Hoevens wrasse (I didnt know he was a wrasse when i got him...;D)

This arrow crab is awsome, he jumps to my hand to get food...scared me the first time.

I also got three emerald crabs, what can I say, they are just too cool...love those buggers.

I also got a little sally lightfoot.

Little shopping spree I must say...but heck, they were all around $5.

good deal! I'd keep an eye on the emeralds though! I use to love them until I caught one eating an abalone.

 

Nice Bruce! I have them except for the Arrow Crab-rather get a coral-banded shrimp, but love them emeralds and Sally's!

an omnivore is an omnivore. ALL crabs are omnivores. I had friend who had a fish die, and the hermits were having a picnic on it.

 

Yup. When my blenny died, I could not get to him for removal. Lucky for me all my crabs and shrimp were able to recycle him. Man the spider crab is a real character, I need to post a video of him hunting bloodworms hah.

 

Crabs are very interesting fish, yet they have to be carnivores too!
