I hate chromis!

trying to catch one is a huge PITA he has now irritated me so much that i am determined to catch him

 

i had a funny feeling this may have come to pass... Try breaking the tank in small sections trapping him as you go... Think of it as a possibility to re scape the aquarium...

 

Sounds like he has you right where he wants you...maybe you should try another time in a couple of days after you both calm down.

 

ive been slightly rearanign the rocks to try to catch him i almost caught him, if i cant catch him tonight maybe i have at least scared him enough to make him behave and at least hopefully leave my wrasse alone

 

so looks like i may have at least stressed out the chromis, he now has black lines on on both sides he's hanging out with the clowns right now, probably for protection, maybe i at least stressed him out enough to leave my wrasse alone and if thats the case i will leave him, everybody is out swimming checking out the new aquascape except for the firefish whose still hiding im hoping he will come back out soon

 

if you havn't already try at feeding time. Put and leave the net in and then drop some food

Try to make a fish trap, just google it for plans. It's not hard.

 

get a fish trap at your local lfs. Mine has one that he loans out to customers. Put a little food in it and wait until the chromis goes in and let the door shut.

Also I have heard that a small hook and some fishing line work great. ;-)

 

ok maybe ill try that
