It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Help it out by moving it to a low flow area in the rock work. BTA foot among the rock or at the base not the sand.

It should foot to the rock work, if it does not and floats around the tank, find an area of the lowest flow or even turn off pumps for a short period to allow it to attach.

Yes it will move and you should allow it to do so except to power heads, over flows and heaters.

It may look bad now but it's far to early to determine it's over all health.

I have to ask why would you place an anemone that does not attach to sand on the sand?

Trust me on this one, I would not be giving the advice if I did not have first hand knowledge.

I left him on the sand because I didn't want to bother it more. The second the lights turned off he puffed up and walked around! Looks perfect now

anemones typically don't like the sand

nope, watched him crawl around the sand bed to the front glass about 6" from where i put him, then all the way back to the rock about 8" back across the sand. Then he wedged himself between rock and glass, and this morning i found him half way up the rock work! haha

glad to hear your anem is looking good! The biggest piece of advice i can give you in this hobby is nothing happens fast. Think of the stress the animal just went through, and the change in environment. Sometimes things just take a little getting used to.

    Get us another pic! lol
