    well ever since i got my aqua c remore skimmer the algae has gone down considerable and i can actually see some of my rock work now!!!! very happy about this. only bad thing thats happened so far is my corals closed up for a while i think due to low Ph but i added some and there out more. does the skimmer affect the Ph?

    No, I think your issue might be from the GHA dieing off or you might need to air out your house to lower the CO2 inside.

    what do you mean hose its a HOB skimmer and i dont see and air hose

    What he mean is open some windows in your house to let out CO2, this will help to raise your ph.

    o ya and whats made the difference is getting rid of my canister filter and using a skimmer instead also i have an intank refugium
