Ok bear with me. I have an aqueon 2 sump for a 75 gallon reef tank. There are 3 chambers. The first is the drain, the second where the fuge or skimmer can be and the third is for return. I want to use the center chamber for a skimmer so I can get a larger one in there. I was told if i put it in the return chamber i can have an issue with micro bubbles entering the DT. Now, I still want a fuge and have about a 15" x 15" area open in the tank cabinet, to the left of the return chamber. If i make a tank or purchase some kind of acrylic cube to put in this area how would I drain it into the sump. I can "T" the drain and have some flow into this cube. What is the best way to get the water flowing from the fuge in to the sump. Any ideas appreciated...thanks...

without seeing it I would say if you are going to build a small acrylic tank. I would just raise it up where it is higher than the sump, drill a hole near the top and insert a bulkhead and pipe it down in to the sump. It would just gravity flow into the sump at that point.

BTW....a picture of what you have would be helpful in helping determine a solution to your issue ;)

It doesnt look like you will have enough room in the current sump for the fuge. This is what I am referring too. I thought it was very well done.
