    Now that im home for break I have a chance to see my dad's tank... looks like his female 6 line is pregnant!

    Its very cool to see, she has a pink colored large bulge below her stomach... and the male constantly displays to her all day long!
    Speaking of him, he has some amazing coloration while he displays too :)

    Nice! I love six lines. And if her pregnancy goes well it sounds like you may have alot of them on your hands. haha

    I wish! as far as i know, they have not yet been bred in captivity :(

    :/I have heard the same. But you can always hope and give it a shot. It would be awesome if it worked out. They have some awesome personality. But in my opinion I dont like getting wild caught fish. It just seems better for the environment and i hate taking a fish from its home. Best of luck with it!

    I totally agree, especially whent he wild caught fish just gave birth or something and you take it away from its family. Good luck nonetheless!!!

    So exactly how did you get your fish to pee on a stick?

    Congrats. Would love to have some baby wrasse in my tank.

    they have mated and layed eggs in captivity. there was even an aritcle on it on this site.

    but they havent been raised yet :(

    good luck if you wish to rear them!!!
