That part in the article about taller tanks...needing a ladder to do maintance and it getting very old....SO TRUE. I had a 55g tall tank that I couldnt do anything in it without bringing out the step ladder. Got to the point (VERY QUICKLY) I might add that I soon hated to do anything with that tank.

I understand the bug....I went from a 29 to a 75g last Nov. I thought there was no way I would ever want anything bigger...for about 1 month. I then got a 6g, then a few months later I got another tank the 55g tall, and then end of May I got my 135g. When I got the 135 I did take down my 75 and 55g. I would like to say that I am done, no bigger, but I am not that stupid! I know I will eventually want something bigger...but that would require me buying a new house or JUST HAVING tank in LR...no couch, tv or anything. (Will consider that ok);D I am going to reset up my 29g and have even tossed around the idea of getting my 55g back from the store that was going to sell it for me and set up a Discus tank. Though I really have talked myself out of that, as all I would ever be doing is tank work and not really getting a chance to enjoy the tanks. So I will stick with the 2 tanks and the QT tanks for now....until I buy another house!!

That kind of change in my house would mean DIVORCE PAPERS!!! I was actually looking at a 215 gallon with longing in my heart yesterday. If I was single, it would have been mine. Where to put it?.....I would have to figure that out. But if I were single, I could put it in the middle of the living room with no ramifications. But I digress and ramble at the same time.

ahhh....one of the few benefits of being single! Nobody telling me that I can not get something that I want.

Except one big problem....most guys that meet me are totally freaked out by the number of tanks that I have and soon realize that I am as crazy as I appear to be!:stars::loco: Dont know why I scare so many people off???:drive: A woman with a tank in every room, 3 dogs and 1 cat.....not crazy at all!:wacky::yelrotflm:yelrotflm
