    Watch your fish closely for a while. Does it appear panicky? Is it breathing heavy? These are the first signs of parasite-related stress.

    FWIW, pigmy angels go through color changes as they age. It's not a total morph like their larger cousins, but their colors do become lighter or darker with time.

    I don't think it is panicky. It is very active. But always has been in my tank. It wasn't too active at the LFS when I got it.

    Would ich will look like tiny salt grains and/or mini microbubbles?

    My Coral Beauty isn't getting darker, but seems to be losing some purple and turning slightly orange on its head above the eyes. It appears slightly less active but I just tested water parameters yesterday then did a usual 20% WC.

    pH: 8.2
    Ammonia:0ppm
    Nitrite:0ppm
    Nitrate:0ppm
    SG: 1.024-1.025
