    I'm an upgrade junkie....getting ready to turn my 55g into a 90g. Man this hobby is getting expensive!!! I'll post some pics when I get that one set up.

    No idea what those are.

    As for upgrading, we're skipping all the sizes in between our current 55 and going straight to a 125, hopefully this year (his idea, I definitely got him hooked). Evenually we'll move to a 240. Cheaper that way LOL.

    Do they feel soft to touch and kinda leathery or do they feel kinda rough and calcium like that is bendable? I am wondering if they are some sort of little spnges. If nothing is poking out like feathery wise they definately wouldnt be a type of tube worm. Some sort of sponge is my best guess. Them being on the powerhead makes sense with this idea in that they are getting good flow to filtedr feed.

    They are fairly rigid to the touch. I am able to push on the end and they do bend. Once I remove pressure they spring back into the original position. They have attached themselves to the powerhead (and back glass wall) very well. So far I've heard that it may be of a type of snake polyp, sponge or snail egg. The mystery continues....
