    Ive been noticing it grow for about 3 to 4 months now and it finally comes out :) im intrested in knowing what it is..

    The pictures look kinda blurry because i took it from a phone

    is it an aiptasia??

    i Thought it could be ... if it is, can i just buy a peppermint shrimp?

    You can buy a peppermint shrimp but you run a 50/50 change of the peppermint actually eat it and not picking on meaty coral. Those 2012 peppermint shrimp are lazy !lol ;D

    and so far thats the only one i see so far.. but can happen if it spreads?

    I've heard of lemon juice as an effective way to kill them, also a copper and butterfly fish will do the trick.

    if it spreads?
    it can take over your tank and (overtime) kill off all your coral.

    You don't want it to spread. They spread like wildfire.

    Your best bet would be Joe's Juice or Aiptasia-X, IMO. Even better, you could pull that rock out and boil it (assuming you can get it out and you have enough liverock left over to buffer the loss of the bacteria on that specific rock).

    You can always try a peppermint shrimp or two (they're fun to watch, actually) but, as has been mentioned, it's rather hit-and-miss as to whether or not they will actually go after the Aiptaisia at all, on top of the fact that they may choose to go after your corals as well.
