    Beautiful Faviid not sure on the species. Keep it low on the sand if your tank is strongly lit with low to medium flow.

    It looks like some of it is skeletal on one side... Should I be concerned?

    From the posted picture it looks fine to me. If your water quality is good it should recover if there is any damage. An iodine dip could help if you notice any expansion of damage.

    +1, I have a similar one and if I was guessing, the area you think is in trouble was probably just the area that was sitting in the sand bed or shade where it came from, and is now in the light, it'll prob color up in the next month;)

    I've seen them called maze corals although I think it's gonastria (sp?) Fairly easy, medium flow and light.

    Very beautiful animal. :)

    I like any Coral that has blue. very nice Coral! can't wait to upgrade so I can get one of those :D

    Yes I really love this coral! It is about the size of a saucer. I paid about $120 dollars for it. I expected it to cost more?
