Not so sure it's an acro

I've included a larger pic for closer examination. I was wondering that if it was an acro, why is it doing so well at the bottom of my aquarium? Where it is located doesn't seem to be a good spot for an acro to survive, much less grow like this coral has. What you see now, has sprung from a tiny (didn't even notice it when I added the Acan) sprout. It's about two months now, and it seems to be really taking off. The polyp extension never seems to be any greater than what you see in the photo. I did some more snooping on the Internet, and came across the Daisy Flower Pot Coral which looks similar to this one. What do you think?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Oh I have no doubt that it is an acro. Nice find. For now I would leave it where it is, it really likes it. As it gets bigger and or you move it up towards the light it will probably color up.

Too late - I moved it up to the 1/2 way point in the tank this morning. I had a green birds nest hitch hiker on the other side which also sprang up in short order, and the Acan stung and killed it in a week. Wanted to avoid that this time.

Very good picture. Wish my camera would do that. Still an acro though.. hehe

As for coloring, if you can imagine it, there is an acro out there with it. I have seen acros of every color imaginable, just some are more rare than others.
