Just looking at the pics I'd have to say that they are little rock nems judging by the white tips. Pretty cool HH's.

Could be any number of variety of small anemone, it could be a bleached majano anem... at any rate I wouldn't be terribly concerned by the anems as I would be by the massive amount of grape calurpa (sp?) you have, unless that is a fuge, you're in for a HELL of a head ache sooner rather than later. Get rid of it asap!

I agree with chaostactics. Hitch hiking nems can turn into an incredible PITA. A friend just tore his 300 down and redid all the rock, including buying all new rock because of tulip anemones.

Can you post some pics of your tank?

I can only see your second picture – the first pic is just a red x to me…..with that being said:
Looks like a baby rock anemone to me as RM also suggested. Under that to the right appears to be an Aptasia anemone and bottom middle of the picture appears to be another rock anemone or perhaps a baby hairy mushroom.

Can we assume this is in your refugium and your display tank is not covered in macro’s ?

Assuming they are in a refugium, even if it’s Aptasia….it’s all good and you have no worries. My refugium has plenty of Aptasia anemones for years – my display has none.

This may actually be a very good point.

In "The Book of Coral Propagation" by Calfo, he suggests the potential for using aiptasia in a specially-designed refugium as water filtration.
