It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I can not see the images because it's so blurred, but I am guessing GHA (green hair algae).

Hard to tell for certain, but it's either GHA or bryopsis. Looks to me like you're just buying someone else's problems.

Not sure what type but it is a macro algae. You can get rid of it by taking the rock out. That is what i would recommend when getting a tank used every time. If you want to reuse the rock you can take it all out and run it (with a powerhead) in the dark in some saltwater with a pump for a few weeks. This will kill most of the nuisance algae. If you buy the tank, just buy new live rock or dry rock and then you can start fresh, not that you wont have algae issues ever (we all do) But it would stink to inherit someone's problems with a used tank. Good Luck!

Also, you can bleach all the rock to start over. Just run them in a bleach/water mixture for a few days. Then run in clean tap water, dry, tap water, dry, and a final 2 day run in RO water with some prime. The prime ensures you remove all chlorine from the rock, and during the drying periods, most of the bleach will just turn back into salt. Wire brush off the dead stuff and your good to go.

Time consuming, but basically free if you need all the rock to be pest free. Then just buy a single rock and cycle the system from scratch.

NOTE: Cannot be done if you have ANY livestock in the tank.

Maybe if you can provide the link of the youtube video we can better tell you what type of algae it is.
