I would like some help identifying this critter. I originally thought this was a musroom of some sort. It came on a piece of LR and was about the size of a dime and smooth. It is now about 1.5" across and has developed these tendrils on it. Any Ideas?

A fuzzy shroom looks hairy. Kind of like a bad hair day.

i agree with acenia that it's a ricordia, if not possibly a rhodactis (discocoma) variation.

Ya fuzzy Mushroom or Yuma have forked polypy things

I would say a Ricordia of some sort.

Is it in high flow? or low light? Ricordia will look like that in both situations
