He is FAT and HAPPY! and I hear that anemones that do really well are somewhat hard to come by. I'm just afraid that when I try to start adding some soft corals that he takes up so much room and if he decides to move he will kill off my investment in coral. Would a lawnmower blenny eat that long hairy stuff off the rock and sand?

    Thanks for your advice. :)

he'll eat it but try to get him to eat normal foods too, some algaes, esspecially the bad ones, have nearly no nutritional value so even though they stay fat and full their not getting the proper nutrients to stay healthy, but it's a normal young tank algae cycle, we all have had them, just keep an eye on it and you'll do fine.

also, Turbo snails do a killer job on hair algaes :)

+1 to the snails! and the nutritional value of the bad algea. Mine eats just about anything i put in the tank, everything from the Mysis to the algea clip. He even munches on Fresh peas. not sure how good the peas are for them but i read they were good for puffers, and Gizmo(my puffer) loves them.

What would be an acceptable number of snails and hermits in relation to tank size? My current crew is listed in my sig. I have one turbo but he never leaves the glass that I can tell. Also, are any kind of hermits better than others, or do they all pretty much do the same?

I see the LTA looks good - but hes on the rocks and might move (normally to the substrate). At least thats the move mine made.
