depends on what part of TX, thats where I'm from to and we had a basement growing up in central TX, here in Oklahoma it's the same thing though, to much shifting table rock under the soil so to get a basement is like a 50-75k premium cause of the labor involved

Guess that makes sense Iraf. House he has is gorgeous just seems odd coming from the midwest to a place with no basement. They do have to water the slab in the summer! ::)

Oklahoma was a pain in the ass going up and down highway 69. Just when you get comfortable at 75, another little town with 3 stoplights and 14 speed reductions! LMAO

    Jake,

If you're remodeling your basement, you ought to build the tank into a wall. It's not as hard as one would think.

Now why doesn't that post surprise me!?! Without a doubt the plans already have the 110 in the wall with an 8x8 fish room as well.

Now I'm just trying to decide on if I want to put this in the wall too. No good place for it and 2 fish rooms seems over kill but who knows. Might figure out away to get them both close enough to the room.

Canned just noticed that you have a sun corral. Saw one at a LFS that is a chain and since cannot wait to get one. Are they that hard to keep?

I don't find that they are that hard. I have to make sure my Calcium is up and directly feed it everyother day, keeping everyone away while it eats and it is doing great! It is even getting a lot more heads to it lately! It doesn't like direct sun though despite its name. It would rather be in a shady area, like under a ledge!

This is about a month ago when I was trying to find out about the black head. That head has gotten bigger but no more than one so far. It is a different type of sun coral. I think someone said an octopus....but don't quote me on that!

    Very cool!

Petland was the place I saw it, I've actually been pretty impressed with this store. They keep the corals in excellent shape. I even asked the girl about the Sun Coral and she stated pretty much the same thing that everyone on this site has said. She also pointed out it wasn't a soft coral like the rest that were in the tank. Anyway at some point I want one!
