Ugggghhhh I'm sooo jealous. Get off of 3reef! It's your wedding day!

My parents spent their honeymoon there, so I'm sure my mom will chime in (as long as she can remember that far back *don't kill me mom*)

But yes, snorkeling is an absolute must. Especially if you're a reef junkie. Heck, go snorkeling twice if you want.

Have fun on the trip! You'll have a blast.

On Maui there is a beach called baby beach. The rocks stop the waves from coming in. GREAT snorkeling there. Shallow clear and calm. It is down the road from CheeseBurger in paradise eatery. There are great tours you can take by boat to get to great snorkeling as well.

Take the helicopter ride as well. A little pricey but worth it IMO

Congratualations on your wedding. Enjoy your day!!!!

Reminds me of a quote my father said to me on my wedding day. He said "Son a man is not complete until he is married....Then he is finished"

There is a company that offers were you can tube the ditch. It I'd old irrigation "ditch" cut out of the mountain and flow for miles. You sit in a tube an wear headlamps, gloves and booties. It goes through long caves as you go down the stream. Very fun!! It is in kuaiau. There are several awesome golf corded there as well.

Maui has some awesome snorkeling/diving. Definately try the molekia volcano crater snorkeling trip. I'm not positive but I think the humpback whales might also be there. Btw, naso tangs are everywhere there.

I went several yer ago and absolutely lived it... I hope you enjoy it as well!

i just went to Maui in May for 10 days. if you want to snorkel you need to do the molokini crater. its a half rim of a volcano with a reef inside. the boat ride out is expensive which brings me to my most important piece of advice: DON"T GO SNORKELING! go to the Scuba Shack in Kihei. their introductory dive package includes a pool dive the day before, breakfast at the docks the morning of, on 45 minute dive, breakfast on the boat while you switch locations and then another 45 minute dive. all this for the low low price of $175. all you need to know how to do is breath and kick your feet, its actually easier than snorkeling and you'll see LOADS more because you can dive where the snorkel boats aren't. The Scuba Shack - Maui friendliest, most experienced team in the islands!

check out my dive videos and pics.

even if this cost 500 dollars i would still have thought it was a good deal

also, if you have deep pockets you should do the Feast at Lele. very classy luau. free drinks and you wont have to eat again for days

    Congrats!

Even with the flu, he still takes jabs at his poor mom. His poor mom, who brought him Krispy Kreme doughnuts (requested via text message) because he was sick... :p

    Love it! ;D

Let's see...we stayed in Kaanapali and were within walking distance of Black Rock. We snorkeled there quite a bit. We also went to Olowalu - very strange. The water is quite murky at first and I thought, what the heck are we doing here???? Then, the water becomes clear and wow! Have a great trip!

i was there a few months ago. i'm not big on snorkeling (or getting in seawater for any reason), but I did find it neat what you can see from the beach.

early in the morning (which was easy on my TX schedule) you could see the reef sticking out of the water. I also got to see a big sea turtle come up the beach and a whale blowing water out its nose way off in the distance (plus a ton of porpoise/dolphins (whichever they were)).
