OK, so I just recently decided that for my new 75 gallon I want to have a sump so now I need opinions on in sump protein skimmers. My price range is $250. I was looking at the Octopus skimmers and the Vortex skimmers. They look nice but I have no experience with them or any skimmers so what do you guys recomend?

I have the reef octopus nw 150 and its a monster, works well, but its big. has a diameter of 8 inches if I am not badly mistaken, it preforms well, would recomend it, and at Aquacave, I got free shipping on it.

+1 on the nw-150, I love mine after 1 day of breaking in shes already pulling skimate out of the water. I would def recomend this to people and for 200 bucks you cant beat it.

I'm outnumbered! Who do I have to petition to get more elephants on this site?

    Seriously, what part of Alabama?
