In tank Refugium

I turned an old hob filter into a fuge. Stuffed in some sand and in a few days I had tons of pods running around. But your blenny should not be able to get in, it should provide protection.

So, just a newbie question... When you add the Caulerpa or chaeto do the pods appear?

 

Usually the pods and critters will be on the algae, put the algae in and a few weeks later you will have something. but it also helps to have live rock and a deep sandbed in the fuge to help get them and make it work right.

 

i had more pods before i added chaeto but i also added a blenny a few weeks before the chaeto and im sure he has helped in my deminishing pod population
