Indecisive Anemone

    Has anyone ever had an anemone start to split and then change its mind? About a month ago, my anemone split on one side all the way to the mouth but never finished. About a day later, it "reformed". I can still see the scar from the split attempt but other than that it is acting normal. Any ideas as to why it might do that?

    By the way, it's a bulb tipped anemone.

    i can't think of anything. have you ever heard of it happening? i don't think that i can even remember ever hearing (or reading) about it happening to anyone.
