    i purchased some sand shifting cucumbers and i did some research on them before i purchased them but i may have an issue.they seem to be under some rock rolled up but i dont know if they come out at nite. any ideas?

    mine do that all the time. Some times there stretched out sometimes their not.... I have 1 in my nano cube 12gl

    but are they nocturnal or day crawlers.its bugging me the moonlight is on but crawling or anything occurring from them.

    I've had a few different kinds over the years and they come out then they hide....they are all over, under rock, over rock, trying to cling to the walls. I had one that would crawl up the glass and attach itself in a corner and hang out there for days. It's fun to watch them poop....sand logs lol

    thay are sand shifting cucumbers.i still havnt spotted them in the tank.i still believe they are under a rock

    not sure if they are lebanese. i ordered them off reef scavengers. so if they are dont know. pooping sand logs sounds funny.

    As stated above they are pretty unpredictable. They will scour every inch of your tank. They are mainly nocturnal feeders though.

    Make sure the inlet valves are not in position to suck your cucumbers up or you'll have no more cucumber and a messy water system.. trust me on that one. lol
