    I bought a coral life r/o d/i (which is just a 3 stage) we also use it to fill our water jug in the 'frige.

    It most certainly sounds good enough!!
    The real test is when the tds meter shows you less than 50 ppm.

    I would only use the RO/DI water...with a tank you need to adhere to the principle of garbage in, garbage out. If you put bad water in at the start, you could be dealing with issues for a long time. Do it right, right from the start. (I'll stop with the business expressions now, I promise)
