Looks like the sexy shrimp (or some other critter that doesn't like living) has been nibbling at my frogspawn. You can see the damage in the pictures.

What do I need to do for it? I've moved it to the quarantine to keep it from being eaten further, but I don't know what else to do for it.

Please help!!! This is my favorite piece...

I agree, I am no expert on this subject but it does not look so thrashed that it is going to croak (OK, that was a bad pun but I couldn't resist). Looks like it has another head growing too.

Yes, it had another head and the other head is healthy (opens all the way, eats, etc.).

I got a good picture of it last night and it was mostly opened, but today it didn't open at all.

ive had that exact same thing happen to one my hammers, dont know why being there were no shrimp nor inverts in the tank, bounced back and healed itself up,as long as your params are good i wouldnt worry about it too much

also keep in mind that (all?) inverts are oppertunistic feeders and will usually only eat the flesh as a sign of possible starvation.

The Black Saddle has only been in the tank a few days, but the Sexy Shrimp have been hosting the Frogspawn since I put it in the tank.

hmm, i disagree about the fish, normally they will only go after corals that are dead/dying/decaying ect. IME hope this helps some

Has the clown tried hosting in it? Could have damaged it wollering around. Also is there any other coral in sting distance?
