Did you give your permission? If he is staying with you, you would have had to give permission and there would have had to be ground rules upfront. If I was letting someone stay in my house I wouldnt care if thet saw things my way or not but they would live up to my expectations while under my roof or they could find some where else to go. As for the dogs he could board them for all I would care. JM2C.

I did when my wife and I first got married. I just put my BigBoy pants on and told them where I stood and if they had a problem with it what they could do and we have got along good every since.

I did give permission but not with happiness. I am a straight shooter go to work daily own a couple companies live the dream kind of guy. this guy and I never saw eye to eye ever and I am asked to help him. I did this out of the kindness of my heart against better judgement. I have set rules that he breaks every day...... I hate people like this! I really really do! Just needed a place to vent and since the only place his dogs do buisness is on my tanks I figured this might be a place to voice it! REally of all the places to go my tanks! really..... Its a mastif/ridgeback mix yea 155 lb dog then the other is a 90 lb pitbull mix really? why can you not respect my tanks. ony jumps on the 92 trying to get the fish! I want to take the dogs on a trip to the farm be the best 2 bucks spent.

hahahaha.......I wish you the best :) . My sister-n-law wanted to stay with my wife and me years ago when her and her husband was having trouble. She didnt have a job, she's kinda obnoxious, and complained about everything constantly. I told her she could but when we got home from work the house had to be clean, laundry done, supper ready. She laughed and said yea right. I told her she better learn to get along with her husband or talk to her momma. she never did stay with us...:) and her and her husband get along great now.

Wishing you the best. Since you have agreed upon rules if they are broken then consequences must be paid.

Great that you are trying to help your brother inlaw out. Got to be rules and if he don't like them only one more thing to say. "Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya"

My wife and I have had relatives stay with us for one reason or another. We have always made sure that the rules of the house were laid out. If you don't like em don't move in. I will be damned if I will be uncomfortable in my house. Even had to tell the father inlaw to get out. He wouldn't follow the rules so out he went. That simple.

    Good luck
