Inserting Pictures

I've noticed that sometimes after clicking the mountain, pasting the link and clicking OK; this either produces an HTML tag, or actually pastes the picture within my pre-post window. I'm talking about the preview before I finalize the post. To clarify, I sometimes see the pic. before I click "reply" and finalize my post.

It's much easier when adding several pictures; to have only the text tag appear instead of the picture until I'm done posting. This is because when the picture is posted within that small window, it obscures the entire post. I find it cumbersome.

I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed any rhyme or reason as to when or why this happens--if I only knew of a method to prevent this, I'd surely employ it.

 

Hi ReefSparky I cant give you a definitive answer as I have only posted a couple of pictures
I attached Jpegs in all cases , and could not verify they where there until checking my post on the thread afterwards

so Ill tag this thread and learn

For example, as I post this picture, I click on the mountain, paste my link, and then sometimes I see this:



Then other times in this same screen as above, I'll see instead of the text surrounded by IMG--the actual picture.

Certainly others have experienced this, right?
