Has anyone had any experience with the Aqueon Megaflow Overflows?

The concept is intriguing....but, does it work?

If chosen, it would be used in a 125g peninsula setup requiring 2, side by side, along the wall...

The option, of course, is to use a traditional, single, wide, overflow of 14" to 18"...

Check out Glass-Holes.com dope aquarium stuff for internal overflows. They have a very slim design & can move a lot of water. You can buy the kit which includes overflow, bulkheads & drill bit.

If you are setting it up as a penisula you I don't know how you can get two side by side. If your building the tank though just have one made out of acrylic so that you can put it in the middle of the tank. I set my 110 up this way and it was pretty simple.

Also I don't know if there are problems with it but you can also do the same thing that cuttinggrass did here. You might want to check with her about how they are working.

Jakerupe, I'm having difficulty getting back to any documentation from cuttinggrass, however, I have a very nice HOT overflow (left over from shutting down my 75g system)...for the new system I will only use an internal overflow as there is no lift pump which fails about every 8 months or so... momma is tired of water on the floor....

Glampka, nice link, interesting reading, since I have room to go out the bottom of the tank I believe that I would prefer a full length box. The do have good information and video on drilling out the tank. Thanks.
