Invert Suggestions

As I said in my Mantis shrimp thread, I have this 12" by 12" area in my wet/dry with about 31/2 inches of water, 10 pounds of live rock, and a grate bottom with 1/2 inch square holes. Any suggestions as to inverts to put in there that couldn't go in the display, which is a 90 gallon reef. I'm looking for something interesting and unique like a mantis, but i'm not sure if a mantis would work in there.

 

I found that I can remove the grate and drop the rock down. This would make the setup a a one foot cubed tank (water one foot deep and the floor space 1' by 1'). There's also about 10 pounds of rock for critters to play in. Any suggestions on cool non reef safe critters?

I was thinking that. However, it would outgrow it eventually.

 

What are the feeding requirements for a purple lobster?

Theres no mantis in there. Im trying to figure out what should go in there and im now thinking purple lobster.

I watched a couple videos on youtube showing mantis shrimp and they seem to like to move around a lot, but i'm thinking a purple lobster. It probably wouldn't outgrow the area, and it's a very cool little invert. Other ideas?

 

Actually, after further research this seems a little cramped too. Other ideas?
