Iodine ?

    There is no scientific evidence that any shrimp/etc need any iodine to molt. The only corals known to need iodine are a few gorgonians.

    Xenia also do not need it to pulse. I have lots of pulsing xenia in a system that has never had iodine dosed into into it. Xenia pulsing is one of those mystery's that we might never know. I have had xenia on one end of a tank, pulse very well, while the other side does not pulse. Then a few days later they switch.
