Derick just glue the housing like I mentioned and put the radiator clamp on it . I learned long ago to always put a radiator clamp on all Mag pumps the inlet housing will crack all to easily .. Like i told someone I simple add a threaded metal nipple to the inlet to spread the crack add some PVC cleaner and glue then tighten clamp . And just put the nipple back in to align the threads make sure the clamp is snug the let it set up. I have a 24 1800 and a 1200 and a 9.5 all fixed the same way.. Anytime you mess with a mag pump its best to use Leak Tight its a blue FDA food use approved pipe dope and not Teflon tape.. I always use it on chiller connections and Mags and any thin walled tapped conections ..

    Happy day!!

Happened to be in a part of town I never go to today, drove by a Koi pond specialty place and they had a great selection of stuff, Never seen a UV setup that is 6' long haha. Anyway they have like every danner mag-drive ever made in every size and spare parts for them all, so I picked up 2 new impeller housings and O-rings gonna go put this together :)

yeah, fixed that pump last night so no more leaks!

Now I just need to find a CO2 bottle, called all the rent/lease places around here and they will only rent 20# and up canisters so I'm going to have to buy one since the one my buddy offered me for free is a 20# I dont have room for one that big

So I have some fish on hold at the LFS now just cause these are semi-rare around these parts, but anyway I have a Flame Fin Tomini Tang on hold that is about 3" long, also told him to get me a single male Carpenter's flasher wrasse but no rush on either, I have about 2 months to pick the tang up before he starts grouching :)

pretty much all of my hardware is from Aquatic Arts Technology (Tangster, That Guy and Amacarag) Dont remember exactly how much I have in the calc reactor but it wasnt cheap, I'm going to pickup a 5# co2 canister tomorrow so I can start using it. It's leaking around the top O-Ring though so I have to figure out why and get that sealed up also

I wanna say after the CO2 canister, media and PH controller I have about $500ish bucks in that reactor

Having issues with the lights on my nano so I really want this thing to cycle quicker I'm not going to rush it but I'm probably going to start moving over some corals and running the lights a few hours a day

I have some red mangroves, chaeto and ulva coming in from reefcleaners.org tomorrow or the next day so the fuge will be running at that point dont want to rush this thing but I dont want to lose $500 in corals either my rose bta will probably get moved to the 58g with it's 2 brothers for a while I dont have room for anymore softies in that tank though having enough issues with coral warfare in that tank
